Create or edit a saved view
A Saved View is a list of Leads, Deals, Patients or Appointments with its own filters, columns and sorting. Saved Views show up as tabs above your lists, and they can be used as the audience when you create an SMS Campaign. You can create and edit all your views from the List Views page.
Changes you make while editing a view are saved automatically. There is no separate "Save" button for the view itself.
Part 1: Creating a New View
- In the left sidebar, click List Views.
- Click the purple + button next to Saved Views. The "Create a new view" form will appear.
- Enter a Name for your view (e.g., "In Progress Leads").
- Turn on Private if only you should see this view.
- Select the Record Type: Lead, Deal, Patient or Appointment.
- In the Columns section, check the boxes for the information you want to see in your list (e.g., First Name, Last Name, Phone, Lead Status).
- Click the Create View button. The view editor will open.
Part 2: Opening a View to Edit
- In the left sidebar, click List Views.
- Use the dropdown under Saved Views to select the record type (Lead, Deal, Patient or Appointment).
- Click the name of the view you want to edit. The view editor will open on the right, showing the view's filters, a preview of the list and its Total Count.
Part 3: Adding or Changing Filters
- In the view editor, click Edit Filters.
- Search for and select the property you want to filter by. For example, type Lead Status.
- Set the condition, such as Any Of, and select the value(s) (e.g., In Progress). Click Save Filter.
- To add another condition, click Add Filter and repeat the steps above.
- To change a filter, click Edit Filter under it, update it and click Save Filter.
- To remove a filter, click the trash icon next to it.
- Close the panel. The list preview updates to show only the matching records.
To learn more about the available conditions, see How to Filter Leads, Deals and Patients.
Part 4: Changing Columns and Sorting
- In the view editor, click Edit Columns.
- Check the columns you want to show and uncheck the ones you want to hide.
- Click Save.
- To change the sorting of the view, click a column header in the list preview.
Part 5: Renaming a View
- In the view editor, click the pencil icon next to the view name at the top.
- Type the new name and press Enter.
Part 6: Setting Up the Pipeline Board
Views can also be shown as a pipeline board, where each column is a value of a property (for example, one column per Lead Status).
- In the view editor, click the pipeline icon (next to the list icon) in the top right corner.
- Under Select a property to group the leads, choose a property (e.g., Lead Status).
- Click Edit Cards.
- Select the Property for Card Title (e.g., First Name) and the Properties to display in card (e.g., Phone).
- Click Save.
- Turn on Default to pipeline view if you want this view to open as a pipeline board instead of a list.
Part 7: Using and Deleting a View
- Go to your Leads, Deals or Patients list. Your view is shown as a tab next to All Contacts. Click it to open the list with the view's filters and columns.
- To delete a view, click the three dots next to the view tab, click Delete and confirm by clicking Delete again.
You can also create a view directly from a list: add your filters, click the three dots button next to Filters and click Save View.
View Editor fields:
- Name: The name of the view. It is shown in the view tab and in the Send to field of SMS Campaigns.
- Private: When turned on, only the user who created the view can see it.
- Record Type: The type of records the view lists (Lead, Deal, Patient or Appointment). It cannot be changed after the view is created.
- Columns: The information shown for each record in the list.
- Default View: When turned on, this view opens automatically when you go to that list. Only one view per record type can be the default, so turning it on for one view turns it off for the others.
- Limit All Leads By This View: Only available for Lead views and for users who can edit account settings. Users who can only see their team's leads or their own leads will only see leads that also match this view's filters. Users who can see all leads are not affected. Click Remove Limit to turn it off.
- Default to pipeline view: When turned on, the view opens as a pipeline board instead of a list.
